The mission of South West Alternative Education Center is: "To provide students with academic skills necessary to be literate citizens; to provide an avenue for obtaining a high school diploma and to enhance the job skills and work behaviors necessary to achieve self-fulfillment."

Friday, September 17th - Constitution Day!  The students and staff of the SWAEC opened their doors and lunch hour to students' families, other school staff, and community/business members.  After a highly competitive Constitution Bowl game, the students served up hot dogs, chicken, all the sides and drinks.  The weather was perfect, the atmosphere was fun and inviting, and the fellowship was open and enjoyable.  A huge thank you to the SWAEC for celebrating such a wonderful day, and for involving everyone else!  We appreciate all you do and are excited about the future of SWAEC!
