These numbers do not include students who come in for a change of clothes, shoes, and other misc. needs.

We have given away over 3000+ cough drops this year and it seems like everyone has a stomach ache!
We are currently out of Cough drops and Tums so you may be seeing a lot of ice chips and crackers.

Food For Thought: We currently have 75 students on the backpack program.

At this time our policies regarding all communicable diseases can be found @ http://www.dhss.mo.gov/SchoolHealth/Communicable_Disease.pdf if you are interested.

The Neosho School District also has a Health Services website available for further information:

Practice good hygiene to control the spread of pink eye. For instance:
  • Don't touch your eyes with your hands.
  • Wash your hands often.
  • Use a clean towel and washcloth daily.
  • Don't share towels or washcloths.
  • Change your pillowcases often.
  • Throw away your eye cosmetics, such as mascara.
  • Don't share eye cosmetics or personal eye-care items.
Although pink eye symptoms may resolve in three or four days, children with viral conjunctivitis may be contagious for a week or more.
